    • The Shotgun is a weapon in Red Faction.

    Description

    The UAS-10 Ultor Automatic Combat Shotgun is a dual-mode weapon, capable of both pump action and fully automatic fire.

    In pump action mode, it fires two shells simultaneously via pump action, with fair accuracy thanks to its built-in recoil compensator.

    In full-auto mode, it can unload 8 shells in a mere 1.2 seconds, making it extremely deadly in close quarters. However, its recoil is much harsher in this mode, hindering accuracy outside of close quarters.

    The Shotgun is used sparingly by enemies throughout the game, for the most part rather ineffectively, and is never hard to find ammo for.
