Control Baton: Difference between revisions

The UCB-24 Ultor Control Baton is a crowd control weapon that can serve as both a truncheon as well as a stun gun. The player can use this weapon to either strike their opponent with bludgeoning melee strikes, or tazer them with electricity. The stun gun aspect of the baton relies on battery packs, so keep an eye out for them.

This is the first weapon Parker obtains in the game, but despite its unique functionality, is a rather weak weapon in the grand scheme of things. Once in possession of the 12mm Pistol, it will be the weapon to rely on as far as weaker weapons go.

Ultor Security Guards are the only enemies in the game to use the Baton, so watch out, on their own they aren't to problematic, but more than 1 can deal damage quite quickly.

This is the first weapon you obtain in the game, though you won't use it for very long, as there is always an abundant supply of ammunition for at least one of the other weapons. You'll only find pesky Ultor riot troops equipped with these weapons and they can be a pain if you're not ready for them as they run directly at you swinging and don't stop until they're dead.
