    • Tip Of The Spear is a mission in Red Faction: Armageddon. It is included in the Path to War DLC pack.

    Summary

    Sergeant Winters sends out Perez to accompany the Red Faction into stopping Hale's forces located at the Terraformer whilst driving a Mastiff. It takes place approximately 7 hours before the Terraformer failure.

    Objectives

    • Take alternative route to the Terraformer

    Introduction

    Sergeant Winters Gentlemen... our worst nightmare has come true. At approximately oh-six-hundred, we received word that Adam Hale and his Cult have stormed the Terraformer. At this point in time, we don't know what their intentions are... but we can only assume the worst. All units are being mobilized. I shouldn't have to tell you the importance of this mission. If Hale damages the Terraformer... Our very existence hinges on this moment, men. This is Armageddon. You have your orders. Move out.

    Dialogue

    Sergeant Winters Alright, Perez, get that tank moving. We need you to clear Bravo Company a path to the Terraformer. If something gets in your way... you go through it.

    Sergeant Winters Cultists are triggering the Terraformer force fields to slow us down. Find the generators and take them out!
    Generators destroyed
    Sergeant Winters Nice work. Shields are down. Keep heading for the Terraformer.
    Encounter with Scout Walkers
    Sergeant Winters Receiving conflicting reports about a hijacked Scout Walkers. Approach with caution.
    Reached defense line
    Sergeant Winters Perez, we've got a squad pinned down by Cultists. They are requesting immediate assistance.
    Alright, move out Perez!
    Reached bridge
    Sergeant Winters Aw shit! They've lined it with explosives! Get off the bridge! I repeat, get off the bridge!
    After bridge explosion
    Sergeant Winters Readings show the tank is still functional... You're not out of this fight yet, soldier.
    Frontal assault is out of the question, but you can still help.
    Head for the rear entrance. Dog and Echo company need a hand breaching the Cultist defenses.
    Don't let me down, soldier.

    Sergeant Winters It's all on you, Perez! Get those shields down! Troops can't advance until you do!
    After assisting the Red Faction
    Dog/Echo Gates are open! Dog and Echo companies moving into the Terraformer!
    Sergeant Winters Nice work, Perez. Hold that position until we arrive.
    Alpha Company is prepped and ready to roll out!
