Salvage is a key item in Red Faction: Guerrilla. It can be obtained by destroying buildings and vehicles. It is used to buy Red Faction weapons for Alec Mason, and to upgrade those weapons. In both cases, salvage is given to Samanya at Upgrade Tables. Samanya also uses salvage to purchase equipment on the black market, though such transactions are only mentioned, never seen.
