==Plot==
Set on the [[Tharsis]] Martian colony in 2145, Origins centers around [[Jake Mason]], the son of [[Alec Mason]],  protagonist in [[Red Faction: Guerrilla]]. The story unfolds in the aftermath of the liberation of Mars, a time of tentative peace and rebuilding. Jake, a member of the [[Red Faction (Group)|Red Faction]], which has since transitioned from a rebel group to a peacekeeping force, discovers that his sister [[Lyra Mason]], long believed to be dead, is actually alive. The plot thickens as he learns that Lyra has been trained and brainwashed by a splinter faction intent on destroying the Red Faction and taking control of Mars.
