Description
The Mutants are the horribly disfigured results of the Nano-tech injections that Dr Axel Capek has his scientists administer to Miners and Ultor staff during regular physical and medical check ups.
Capek alludes during the gameplay that these mutants may be "old friends" to Parker, suggesting they are miners who experienced the nanotechnology. The results of these "experiments" were unrecognizable and extremely violent.
