The Badlands is a wasteland of jagged rocks, dead settlements, and more. This region is described as "where terraforming went wrong". The Badlands are home to a mysterious group from the first Red Faction who come out at night. They have been described as "Mad Max". The Earth Defense Force does not like going out here.
