Free Fire Zone
The Free Fire Zone is the buffer between the outer sectors and Eos and the Earth Defense Force will kill anyone entering it. An artillery base to the north watches the road at all times. Given its strategically important position, the Zone is absent of any civilian settlements or industrial facilities. Only the EDF call it home, and they zealously defend the Zone against all enemy incursions, knowing that if their position here is lost, then nothing stands between the Red Faction and the Eos sector.
