"Run" maps are a style of level for the game. Run Maps were born with the release of Cyrus's "Deathrun". Further releases from Cyrus include Deathrun 2, Deathrun 3, Deathrun 4, Deathrun 5, and Deathrun Freestyle. Many other Red Faction mappers have expanded on Cyrus's original concept over the years.

List of run maps

Deathrun

Red Faction's first run map.

Deathrun 2

Cyrus's second run map and the first run map ever with checkpoints.

Deathrun 3

Cyrus's third run map. Expanded on the new checkpoint concept first used in the previous Deathrun 2.

Deathrun 4

Cyrus's fourth run map. Released after his breif hiatus from Red Faction mapping. The first run map to feature Cyrus's "Synced Checkpoints" method.

Deathrun 5
