The Dropship is one of the air based vehicles in Red Faction II. It is only used by enemies throughout the single player campaign and can't be entered by the player. It is an armoured aircraft designed for delivering troops into battle. It's well armoured and difficult to destroy, even with the aid of rockets. In most cases, the troops pouring out of it are more of a concern than the vehicle.
The only instance of an Allied dropship is in the introductory cutscene during Foreign Lands where by the player exits out of the vehicle, driven by Shrike.
