    • The Red Faction Mining Excavator is a vehicle in Red Faction: Armageddon.

    Description

    The Mining Excavator is a strong mining and digging tool, capable of punching through large sheets of rock with little trouble.

    The Excavator appears in two levels, the first one being Road To Bastion in which Darius must use it to cut a path through the walls to make a new route for the Red Faction LAV and Emergency Transport Vehicle to continue their path to Bastion.

    The second level, Heavy Metal - sees the Cultists, having stolen one, trying to dig their way into a Red Faction base from a rock wall on the opposite side. Darius alongside Kara take a Marauder Scout Walker around and destroy the Excavator before it can finish digging through.
