The CSR-60 Sniper Rifle is a weapon in Red Faction II.

Description

Capable of bolt-action fire only, this rifle comes standard with a UNVS-8 scope that provides the user with pinpoint accuracy on the battlefield. It also features a wind velocity offset that automatically corrects for any wind conditions present. This weapon can inflict immediate fatal wounds if a head shot is achieved, and is capable of penetrating both body-armour and lightly armoured vehicles.

The sniper rifle is a good mid to late game weapon, serving its purpose better over long ranged scope firing, taking out enemies at a distance, but can still do good damage in close ranged combat aswell.

The weapon is attributed to the military sniper units in the game - and is the only enemy that uses it. The player can pick it up in the second level of Hanging In The Hood'
