Sporting a higher rate of fire and larger ammunition clips than normal submachine guns, the NMG-44 Enhanced Machine Gun is an extremely powerful close-combat weapon. It is extremely effective against all enemies, including heavily armoured targets.

The Enhanced Machine guns are the most effective fully automatic mini machine guns, and is a very strong late game weapon. They are able to deal with the Processed far better than any other projectile based weapon at such range.
