Audio Log object

Audio Logs are collectable items in Red Faction: Armageddon that provide lore surrounding both the current story and the past events that lead up to this point. In-game, these logs are easily identifiable by their blue beam of light that expands as it gets closer to the audio object, highlighted by the spherical visual effect at the top. The player must use the "use" key when close to one to listen to the device in game.

Once listened to, these audio logs are unlocked as audio snippets in the games "Extras" menu from the main menu, allowing you to listen to them again at your leisure.

Collecting these Audio logs will complete the Chronicler achievement.

Armageddon

Last day in uniform tomorrow. Don't know how I feel about that. The Red Faction is all I've known my whole life... but I made a promise to Marie. She worries to much. Should be slow tomorrow. Just a routine patrol around the Terraformer and then I'm officially retired.
Guide
This log is at the start of the level - Before you destroy the Last shield protector tower after picking up the Plasma Cannon - Go to the right away from the shielded exit, and the log is beside one of the defensive barriers.

Jason Paul, ID number 6-0-0-4-5. Evening report. Nothing. As usual, Sectors 1 through 36 are quiet and humming along. I swear I could take a four-hour nap and nobody would notice. Shoulda went into mining. Nothing exciting ever happens here.

Immediately after the cutscene where the drop ship is destroyed, There is a building on the right with enemies you have to kill, to the right side of the building, there's a path that leads around the back, right here is the log.

The Terraformer

David? David, are you at your station? We are at a Code blue. Nelson is dead. I found him in his office. He... somebody shot him? We have a breach. We need to- shit...I think I heard something. Oh god. Somebody's in here...
Guide
After going up the first set of ramps that spiral, you'll enter a corridor with 2 Cultists, the log is sitting in the doorway to your right.

Donnie, somebody screwed our order. We needed a C5 Exo suit. The Loader unit...not a damn SHIVA. How does something like this even happen? We need to stack coolant not blow it up. Get it out of here before someone gets drunk and takes it for a joyride.

After repairing the turbines and stopping the Cultists from destroying the room, you go up a ladder and to another set of spiralling ramps. When you get to the top there is a Cultist Officer - behind him on route to the next area is the audio log.

After you slow down to talk to S.A.M as she tries to detect what the moving objects are, theres a drop to your left, right down there is the audio log beside 2 salvage pick ups.

Supplies are running low. We have enough food to last two... maybe three days. Orders are to hold this position until the Marauder reinforcements arrive... We'll never last that long.

Just before the end of the level, you will pass a building with a ramp leading in to it, just in front of the ramp as you path forwards is the log.
