The EDF use a standard issue assault rifle to many of its forces. The weapon is a good all around weapon.

The Rifle has good stopping power, but lacks in accuracy compared to the pistol. However, the Assault rifle doesn't have to be. It is effective at about medium range and can kill most early enemies with a short burst anywhere, altough the weapon can still be used later in the game against tougher enemies with the use of headshots and precision aiming.

  • Primary Fire: Fully automatic rifle rounds
  • Secondary Fire: Bash
  • Pros: Good power, clip size, and rate of fire, semi common
  • Cons: Losses accuracy at range, only three clips of ammo at one time
