== Summary ==
With the [[Red Faction (Group)|Red Faction]] preparing to launch an assault on the Eos sector, [[Hugo Davies]] sends [[Alec Mason]] to meet up with a squad and lead the assault on the [[EDF]] Central Command. Shortly after, the plan is aborted after a surprise EDF attack on the Red Faction's headquarters in the [[Badlands]]. Mason meets with [[Samanya]] and clears out the base. As a result of the surprise attack, Hugo Davies, [[Carmen Avila]] and [[Jon Kepler]] were killed.
