Samanya was Martian born and a descendant of the [[Ultor]] corporation, and therefore grew up in the [[Marauders]] with her sister [[Vasha]]. Vasha became the Marauders' leader and quickly grew insane, much to dismay of Samanya. However, Samanya had no choice as to follow the crazy orders Vasha gave her.

After Vasha got kidnapped by the [[EDF]] and was planned to be publicly executed, Samanya had no choice as to rescue her. After this, Vasha told Samanya that this was a trap set up by the EDF, but the ambush party got destroyed. The war between the Marauders and the EDF had begun. <br />
Samanya is an important character in [[Red Faction: Guerrilla]]'s overall plot, and the [[Red Faction(Rebellion)|Red Faction]]’s main mechanic/tech person. She is also the way [[Alec Mason]] gets upgrades, buying them from her with money he aquires from salvaging parts off of destroyed structures.

After the control of the EDF lowered to zero in Mariner Valley, the Marauders launced an all out attack against the EDF and wanted to leave nobody alive in the camps, including the prisoners. Samanya couldn't let this happen and asked Vasha if she could rescue the prisoners in some extra time. Vasha agreed but felt betrayed. Samanya was succesful in rescuing the prisoners in the first camp. However, Vasha quickly lost her patience and launched the attack, saying that Samanya is expendable. Samanya quickly rescued a man in the second camp, called [[Dan Mason]]. Dan informed Samanya that another man is being held in another camp, and the two rushed to him. After rescuing this man, called [[Hugo Davies]], the three fled the scene and started new lives. Hugo Davies took up the mantle of the [[Red Faction]] to fight against the EDF, and Samanya and Dan joined his cause.

After Alec retrieved the 'Marauder Device' in the old Ultor mines. After Alec gathered enough salvage to upgrade the Device, the [[Nano Forge]] was created and allowed to use to Samanya and Alec. When the [[Hydra]] came to Mars, she made peace with her sister again and the Red Faction and the Marauders started a permanent allignment.  


Samanya is first seen at the start of the game, as [[Alec Mason]] first arrives on [[Mars]], on an [[EDF]] "most wanted" poster.

Life in the Marauders

Samanya, during her time in the Marauders.

Samanya was Martian born and a descendant of the Ultor corporation, and therefore grew up in the Marauders with her sister Vasha. Vasha became the Marauders' leader and quickly grew insane, much to dismay of Samanya. However, Samanya had no choice as to follow the crazy orders Vasha gave her.
