Jake Mason is a named major character in Red Faction: Origins. The film's protagonist, he is the son of Alec Mason and Samanya.
History
When Jake was growing up, his family home was invaded by members of White Faction, led by Stoller. During the home invasion, his mother, Samanya, was killed, and his sister, Lyra, was kidnapped. After this whilst his father Alec began to turn to drink, Jake instead tried to do good and as he grew older, worked his way up the ranks of the Red Faction forces.
