Foreign Lands is the introductory chapter and also tutorial stage for the single player campaign of Red Faction II. The chapter consists of 2 individual levels and begins as Alias and Shrike approach a hostile fortified base looking for the Nano-Cell. This then leads on to the first main Chapter of the Game - Public Information Building

Complex Exterior

Chancellor Sopot orders a Special Ops Mission. „

Shrike drops Alias off just on the outskirts of the base - with instruction to clear out the guard towers so that Shrike can safely fly nearby to destroy the locked entrance.

After doing so - Shrike is able to fly in with his gunship and blow the doors open, allowing Alias access to the inside.

The Mission starts Alias off with the Semi-Automatic Pistol and the NICW rifle.

Complex Exterior

The key to Nano-technology is inside the Central Core. „

After Alias enters the the complex, he is greeted with a garage and light resistance, he must then use a vent to sneak further into the containment facility - upon where he finds more guards and the Central Core, containing his objective. Alias must destroy the cores protective shields before retrieving the Nano-Cell and escaping the facility.
